I’m bound to leave you

I'm bound to leave you baby
Tomorrow I'll be gone
Don't know where I'm going
But I'm bound for moving on

I don't know how to tell it
I don't know what to say
Whichever I say it
I'll still be on my way

I know you'll think I'm crazy
To throw it all away
You can't see no kind of reason
Why I shouldn't stay

There's no way to make it easy
Leaving's always hard
But we can keep it simple
Just say we're going to part

Well you'll look back and you'll wonder
was it all a dream
but I'm telling to you straight love
It was just the way it seemed

Perhaps we should have quarreled
You might think you understood
It might have made it easy
But I don't think it would and
I don't think I could

I'm feeling bad about it
but that don't help you none
I won't be there to hold you
when tomorrow morning comes

There's no way to make it easy ...

I'm bound to leave you baby
Tomorrow I'll be gone
Don't know where I'm going
But I'm bound for moving on

Don't think too much about it
Just the way things had to be
Don't think you deserve it
'cos you've been good to me

There's no way ...

It all started with a chordless figure on the guitar.  I got Sofie to play it, she was about 10.
It evolved.
As for the text - well, wouldn't it be nice if we were the ones doing the leaving.
