old man once courted me

Old man once courted me
Hey ding doorum down
Old man once courted me
Me being young
Old man once courted me
Fain would he marry me
Maids when you're young never wed an old man

They've got no faloorum faliddle faloorum
They've got no faloorum faliddle faley
They've got no faloorum
They've lost their dingdoorum
Maids when you're young never wed an old man

When we went to church me
He left me in the lurch

When we went bed
He neither done nor said

When he lay fast asleep
I from his side did creep
Into the arms of a jolly young man
And I've got his faloorum faliddle faloorum
I've got his faloorum faliddle faley
I've got his faloorum
He found my ding dorum
So maids when you're young never wed an old man

 From  Plum.
This was from the famous recordig session of 1964, and it is Plum (of New Horizon) singing.  She was doing it at Dave's request - he wanted to collect the song, and I think Plum thought he was stealing it.  Everybody was charmed by her voice, but she was not enthusiastic.

One of the many songs where explicit sexual matters are glossed over by nonsense.
